HILICpak™ is the brand name for various HPLC columns from the manufacturer Shodex™ (Showa Denko™) for hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC). The base material of these columns is polyvinyl alcohol. The columns show excellent chemical stability and minimal wear over long periods of time.

HILICpak VG-50

  • Suitable for sugar analysis in HILIC mode
  • High recovery rate of reduced sugars
  • Can be regenerated with alkaline solutions
  • Suitable for ELSD, CAD and MS detectors

 

HILICpak VT-50

  • Suitable for analysing anionic substances in HILIC mode
  • Suitable for LC/MS methods

 

HILICpak VC-50

  • Suitable for analysing cationic substances, incl. amines
  • The dominant separation mechanisms are RP or IEX

 

HILICpak VN-50

  • Suitable for analysing oligosaccharides
