Waters™ Cortecs (U)HPLC columns are a family of high speed, high resolution columns based on the core-shell (Fused-Core™) technology. The silica-based stationary phases consist of a non-porous core and an porous outer layer, that provides fast separations without excessive backpressure. Cortecs materials are available in 1.6 µm (for UPLC® separations) and 2.7 µm particle size (for UPLC® or HPLC separations). The phases are available in 7 different modifications for reversed-phase or hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC).
