Osaka Soda’s SUPERIOREX II ODS is the successor model to the SUPERIOREX ODS, which will be discontinued at the end of December 2021. Here, the SUPERIOREX II ODS features the same characteristics as its predecessor with improved durability and greater reproducibility. Additionally, the SUPERIOREX II ODS is also available with a particle size of 3 μm. Furthermore, the SUPERIOREX II ODS has a high loading capacity and is available as a semi preparative column.
Phase-Name | Modification | Particle size | Pore size | C-Content | USP | Surface | pH-Range |
Superiorex II ODS | C18 | 3, 5 µm | 100 Å | 25% | L1 | 450 m2/g | 2.0‒10.0 |
High reproducibility in terms of retention time and peak shape: highly recommended for everyday analysis such like quality control.
If you get inadequate separation with a low carbon C18 column, this can be improved by the SUPERIOREX II ODS. For example, the resolution between Vitamin D2 and D3 can be increased by the SUPERIOREXII ODS using the same method.
Do columns with a high carbon content show only poor peak shapes, you can remedy this with the SUPERIOREX II ODS. An example is the separation of flavonoids. Here, a better peak shape can be obtained with the same method.
Conclusion: Osaka Soda's SUPERIOREX II ODS can increase the resolution of difficult separations using the same method and improve peak shapes.
