Sucrebead HPLC columns are manufactured by Osaka-Soda in Japan. Previously, the columns belonged to the Shiseido Company, whose chromatography division was acquired by Osaka Soda in 2017. Sucrebead are polymer-based HPLC columns for sugar analysis. The base material is polystyrene-divinylbenzene with bonded quaternary ammonium groups. The columns are developed for the realization of the high sensitivity sugar analysis by pulsed amperometric detector (PAD).
Sucrebead I is well-suited for the analysis of mono- and disaccharides.
Sucrebead II is well-suited for the analysis of di‒, oligo‒ and polysaccharides.
