The Canadian company K'(Prime) Technologies has developed HPLC-columns specifically for the analysis of perchlorate by reversed-phase analysis. Currently the USEPA 314.0 describes a perchlorate analysis method based on Ion Chromatography with conductivity detection. Elevated baseline and discrete artifacts are some of the problems experienced due to the contaminations.

The KP-RPPX HPLC-columns is based on Reversed-Phase Chromatography to separate perchlorate in drinking water, ground water, saline water, soil and biota by LC/MS and to detect at low part per trillion levels (ppt) with better scientific confirmation than the current method USEPA 314.0.

The column KP-RPPX is available with the dimensions 250x4.6mm, 250x3.0mm, 150x4.6mm and 150x2.1mm.
