The HALO peptide columns from AMT (Advanced Materials Technology) are characterised by their ability to perform fast and high-resolution peptide separations. They achieve this at 40-50% of the back pressure compared to columns with sub-2 µm particles. An outstanding feature of these columns is the Fused-Core® design. Due to its lower back pressure, it allows the columns to be connected in series. This configuration maximises peak capacity, which is particularly advantageous for UHPLC and HPLC analyses of complex tryptic digestion samples. In addition, these columns are fully compatible with UHPLC and LC-MS applications, ensuring high efficiency and stability. Remarkably, they offer approximately 20% higher peak capacity than the sub-2 µm non-core columns. The pore size of 160Å is specially optimised for peptides.
