Tosoh SkillPak BIO
SkillPak BIO columns are pre-packed columns designed for process development and scale-up of multicolumn chromatography (MCC) processes. The columns are packed with TOYOPEARL resins and thus offer a unique and comprehensive solution for MCC process development. The SkillPak BIO columns are available in five different dimensions to meet both initial screening and scale-up requirements.
Tosoh's new SkillPak 50 & 200 columns extend the SkillPak product range. The SkillPak 50 columns have a dimension of 100 x 25 mm and the SkillPak 200 of 100 x 50 mm. Both column dimensions are available with different TOYOPEARL or TSKgel resins for some types of bioseparation. The columns can be used with standard low or medium pressure chromatography systems.
Together with the SkillPak 1 & 5 columns, a seamless scale-up of downstream processes is possible. The SkillPak 1 & 5 columns are ideally suited for method development and optimisation as well as screening of resins and robustness tests. The methods developed in this way can be easily scaled up with the SkillPak 50 & 200 columns.
