SolGel is a brand name for GC columns manufactured by Trajan Scientific™. Due to a special sol-gel manufacturing process the stationary phase is covalently bonded to the capillary inner wall. This results in very robust and temperature-stable GC-phases.
 

SolGel-1ms™:

  • Robust, highly inert, non-polar phase for use with mass spectrometers
  • Can also be used for all non-MS detectors
  • High temperature stability
  • Same selectivity as BP1
  • Recommended for highly active compounds

 

SolGel-WAX™:

  • WAX Phase with very high temperature stability and robustness
  • Bonded polyethylene glycol
  • Less susceptible to damage by oxygen than conventional wax phases
  • Low bleed and inert
  • Bonded and cross-linked
  • Able to be solvent rinsed
  • Recommended for highly active compounds
