For the fast assessment for biologic activity of mAbs

Tosoh Bioscience GmbH introducing the new affinity column - TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR - based on a recombinant FcγIIIa receptor ligand. The column is designed for fast assessment for biologic activity of mAbs.

The FcγIIIa receptor plays a key role in antibody-dependent cell mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) by interacting with the N-glycans of the Fc domain of immunoglobulins. Hence, affinity chromatography using immobilized Fc receptor ligands can deliver valuable information about ADCC activity of therapeutic antibodies. As the interaction/affinity is influenced by N-glycans the separation profile also reflect the antibodies glycoform pattern.

Affinity chromatographic separation by biological activity of mAbs with the TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR from Tosoh

This fast and efficient method can be used in many phases of development and production such as cell line screening in early R&D, biosimilar/originator comparison, upstream development and optimization, monitoring of glycoengineering, or lot-to-lot comparison in QC.
