ChiroSil® columns are based on materials modified with chiral crown ethers. A covalent bond to silica ensures excellent column stability. The main area of application is the enantiomer separation of primary amines, amino acids and corresponding derivatives. The columns are available with both enantiomeric forms RCA (+) and SCA (-), allowing the elution sequence to be inverted. In addition, ChirolSil® columns can be used in normal and reversed phase chromatography respectively. All ChirolSil® columns are also available in the ChirolSil ME® version with higher capacity factors.
