Superspher® HPLC columns, manufactured by Merck™, are based on spherical silica gel with a mean particle size of 4 µm. They enable highly efficient HPLC separations and provide an optimum pressure to separation performance ratio. Superspher® phases are well-suited for the analysis of complex sample mixtures that require high peak capacity. The columns are available in different C8 and C18 reversed-phase modifications and one unmodified variant for normal-phase chromatography.
