Nucleoshell® (U)HPLC columns, manufactured by Macherey-Nagel are based on Core-Shell (Fused-Core™) technology. The silica-based stationary phases consist of a non-porous core and an porous outer layer, that provides fast separations without excessive backpressure. Nucleoshell® columns are available with different modifications. The particle sizes are 2.7 μm (core: 1.7 μm) and 5 μm (core: 3.8 μm).
