With the successful MarvelX series, IDEX offers connectors for UHPLC which can be installed without any tools. These connectors can resist pressure of up to 19000 psi (1310 bar). The capillaries consist of stainless steel and have an OD of 1/32". The tips of these capillaries have an OD of 1/16" to be more resistant. The fittings have a 10-32 thread and are interchangeable. For biocompatibility, there exist PEEK lined stainless steel capillaries. This prevents the sample from coming into contact with stainless steel.
