ChiralCTAM / ChiralCTAM-R columns are made of amylose coated silica particles. The spherical silica particles have a pore size of 500 and 1000Å. Because of the coated amylose derivative, only typical mobile phases can be used. For other non-typical mobile phases, the immobilized ChiralAM columns are recommended.
The ChiralCTAM columns are columns for the normal phase chromatography. The ChiralCTAM-R columns, in turn, are columns for the reversed phase chromatography.
