ChiralCECD columns are a new type of chemically modified cellulose appended cyclodextrin bonded (CECD) silica particles for chiral chromatography. The ChiralCECD particles were prepared by bonding the different functional groups onto the surface. The column contains a unique chiral selector with two chiral recognition moieties: cellulose and cycledextrin. Due to these two moieties, the ChiralCECD columns can provide a different and generally better chiral separation compared to other cellulose-based and cyclodextrin-based columns.
