ChiralAMxAMy columns are made of tandem hetero-amylose derivatives bonded to silica particles. The immobilized novel complex selector contains the derivatized amylose AMx and a different amylose derivative AMy. The two amyloses AMx and Amy are linked by a covalent bond to each other. Due to these two chiral selectors, the columns can provide a different and generally better chiral separation for a wide range of chiral compounds.
