ChiralAMCD columns are the first type of chemically-modified amylose appended cycledextrin-bonded silica particles chiral columns. The ChiralAMCD particles were prepared by bonding the different functional groups onto the surface. The column contains a unique chiral selector with two chiral recognition moieties: amylose and cycledextrin. Due to these two moieties, the ChiralAMCD columns can provide a different and generally better chiral separation compared to other amylose-based and cyclodextrin-based columns.
