ACE Excel columns consist of 2µm high efficiency silica particles. The selectivity of this material is unchanged from the existing 3, 5 and 10 µm ACE phases. So, the excellent peak shape and column-to-column reproducibility are now available to UHPLC. All ACE Excel columns are manufactured using a proprietary “High Stability Column” (HSC) technology. This results in ultra-robust columns for the UHPLC. Also, the hardware for ACE Excel was adapted and can now be used up to 1000 bar.
There also exist two unique stationary phases with C18-PFP and C18-AR which provides an alternative selectivity compared to the common phases like C18 and C8.
